Following the huge international success of Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy which dominates bestseller lists (see suggested reading) and is currently being made into three feature-length films, we are offering Millenium-focused walking tours for interested clients.
Beginning with brunch at the contemporary designed, Rival hotel (owned by Benny Andersson of Abba), we will follow in the footsteps of Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist and explore the streets of Södermalm – the trendy, young, boho district of Stockholm. We will visit Kvarnen and Mellqvist – the favourite brassiere-bars of Lisbeth and pass by the buildings where the main characters lived and where Blomkvist's publishing office was located. Mikael Blomkvist's Stockholm was essentially the Stockholm of Stieg Larsson and we will generally get a feel for this quirky, more edgy district of Stockholm.
