The Hollywood version of the first film in Stieg Larsson's phenomenally successful Millenium trilogy will begin filming in Stockholm at the end of this month. There is enormous potential for the film, like the books and the Swedish Millenium films, to be a huge commercial success. Noomi Rapace was a fabulous Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish films and we await the American version with great anticipation.
