From 28th to 31st October, the exhibition Nordic Depths will be showing at MEWS42 gallery in South Kensington, London. The exhibition brings together the work of four inspirational and talented artists from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
All the artists have their own distinctive styles and paths of exploration: Alexander Gough’s vibrant blue canvases evoke the extraordinary light of the forests of Finnish Lapland; Peter Esdaile transposes ancient Norse tales of conflict into striking sculptures of carbon fibre and timber; Bruno Ekeroth de Almeida’s romantic portraits resonate with history and myth; Elisabeth Molin’s powerful photographs explore alternative realities.
