About Us
Stockholm Cultural Tours was established by Anglo-Swede, Christina Cadogan in order to offer exclusive, specialised tours in and around Stockholm. We aim to give informative, educational and culturally enriching tours while at the same time allowing you to enjoy Stockholm's stunning nature, spectacular island setting and the magical long, white summer nights...
We hope to open up parts of Stockholm and its surroundings that you would not necessarily see or indeed be even conscious of as an ordinary tourist. As well as the tours advertised, tailor-made tours can be arranged to suit individual requirements. Day trips in Stockholm for clients coming off cruise boats are arranged to suit the individual.
Your trip with us
If you choose to book a tour with us we will organise private guided tours around galleries and manor houses in and around Stockholm and boat trips on the unique and spectacular Stockholm Archipelago. A few summer trips will include seeing an opera at the Drottningholm court theatre, a UNESCO world heritage site and the only theatre in Europe to retain and still use its original eighteenth century stage sets.
For those with particularly strong art historical and cultural interests, we will organise tours exclusively concentrating on visiting art galleries, stately homes and Swedish castles. These trips will include a night or two away from Stockholm to enable a visit to, for example, the exceptional Baroque Castle, Skokloster.
Stockholm Cultural Tours can recommend and book tables at a range of restaurants from local, traditional Swedish kroger to elegant, gastronomic establishments and can recommend accommodation for your stay in Stockholm.
If you prefer not to participate in a group tour, we are happy either to arrange a tailor-made complete programme for you as an individual or couple or alternatively to help you with selected aspects of your trip.
Group tours will have a maximum of 8 people.
Stockholm Cultural Tours runs group tours from the beginning of June until the end of August every summer. Tailor-made tours on specialist request are run throughout the year.
