Hallwylska Museet is the beautifully preserved late nineteenth century town house of Count and Countess von Hallwyl. This stunning mansion, inspired by the Venetian late Gothic, resembles an Italian palazzo in the centre of Stockholm. Furnished and decorated as it was when the count and countess lived in the house, Hallwylska Museet, is a fabulous and unique example of a Swedish aristocratic late nineteenth century townhouse. The museum gives a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Swedish aristocracy at the time.
